About course

The Jas Leader Akademiiasy project was created for teachers, students, and schoolchildren from grades 5 to 11 who want to unlock their leadership potential, learn teamwork, confidently express their ideas, and develop communication skills. The program is suitable for anyone striving for personal growth, regardless of their experience or background. We believe that everyone has the potential to become a leader — someone who can inspire others and bring positive change to their environment.

Project history

The Jas Leader Akademiiasy project was launched in 2021 by the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation with the mission to inspire and support the young generation of Kazakhstan. Initially launched as a pilot program, it quickly expanded to 5 regions across the country, engaging more than 41,500 students from over 200 schools. The project brought together students and teachers through interactive workshops, practical assignments, and annual Jas Leader Forums. In 2025, following a successful pilot phase, the program was handed over to certified local organizations to scale its impact and make it accessible to even more children.

Project Achievements

Reach

More than 41,500 schoolchildren took part in the program, developing leadership and teamwork skills.

Teacher training

Over 300 teachers were trained through a specialized program to conduct workshops.

Annual Forums

From 2021 to 2025, Jas Leader Forums were held in Almaty, bringing together hundreds of active participants.
